A Place to Belong.
A Place to Begin.

For over twenty-five years, Regeneration Brampton has been a space for our neighbours to call home.

A warm meal, a welcoming place where every person is accepted as they are and met where they are at.

Our Story

“A living room for those without a living room.”

In 1999, Lynda Arthey had a simple vision.

A safe place. A caring place. A living room for people who didn’t have one.

Her vision was more than a program or a service. A place centred around relationships – around knowing someone’s name and meeting them where they are.

After a few informal gathering sites across Brampton, the need for something permanent became clear. In 2010, Ted Brown joined as the first full-time staff member. Regeneration signed a long-term lease at Grace United Church.
